VISIT TO MOROCCAN COUNTRYSIDE

We had the great fortune to be able to accompany Carey and Abdou to the Moroccan countryside for a visit. We went to Abdou's birthplace and stayed in their house.

The reason of the trip actually was a sad one, as a distant relative had died and Abdou and Carey wanted to go and pay their respects to the grieving family. Muslim funerals happen immediately after the death so we left Rabat on short notice.

In the courtyard - the woman is Abdou's sister Nijjat, and the dog is called Jack.

No need to say that Lili will love any place that has animals - here is the household donkey. There were also five cows and about ten chickens running around.

We are being fed like royalty all the time. Here a tea break in the country.
