Cuale Paradise

CUALE PARADISE

We were able to enjoy a new restaurant in Puerto Vallarta called Cuale Paradise. Thanks to a tip from my friend Wanda (whose parents have got to know the family who runs it over the years)  we bussed out to Paso Ancho and then walked underneath the bridge and voila - there it is.

Cuale is the name of the river that runs through Puerto Vallarta, and this restaurant is right on the river - in fact our table was on a little island.

Bridge to our table.

Enjoying the typical starters - chips and pico de gallo. My drink is called Conga - a juice mixture.

Here is our waitress Laura. She has three daughters 11, 7 and 8 months. Her baby was with her at the restaurant. Laura's birthday was a day after we visited and Wanda's dad had just called her to congratulate her from Canada.

Lili had red snapper. We all had some of it in fact - and it was very tasty.

And the chocolate cake was pretty impressive as well.

And guess what? They have two large macaws in a cage at their parking lot. Lili was very happy to feed them some sunflower seeds that the owners thoughtfully leave by the cage.

And a nice family pic of the dinner!
